Happy Ethiopian New Year!! Our development teams have worked hard to provide our users with new features to offer much-needed insights and automation. To that goal, we are happy to announce the release of two modules as a run-up to our full release of the whole HaHuJobs echo systems. We now have a vacancy post request submission portal for employers who would like to publish their vacancies on our portal free of charge. The submission process has two steps, the first being the employer providing contact information, name, and TIN followed by a list of vacancies to be submitted and their respective details. Multiple vacancy submissions per a given company are allowed and descriptions can be offered in an image, text, or document format.
We have now standardized the taxonomy classification of all the vacancies we aggregate from various sources። We have implemented three standards to utilize in combination, we started with the international labor organization ISCO-08, the European Union ESCO and the United states O*Net. These classifications enable both the job seeker and the employer to have more insights into what knowledge, skills, and abilities are required for the vacancies they advertise.
These classifications help the HaHuJobs operation team classify the vacancies based on the level of skills they require. Provided each has a closely related context of use HaHuJobs implemented the crosswalks offered between these standardizations for a more comprehensive insight into the properties of the vacancies availed through HaHuJobs outlets. Currently, these analyses are offered on the HaHuJobs web platform but will be initiated in other outlets in the near future.
